Cogen’s validation tools automatically check for length of translated content, compared to source; figure, punctuation and mark up, compared to source; number of paragraphs in translated content, compared to source; and much more. We follow up the automated validation with a manual review of your translated content to ensure we have caught all potential issues.

Our professional translation teams collaborate with your local, in-country reviewers when appropriate. Our automated process highlights any changes made, which we use to update the translation memory. The highlighted material is also used to educate the translation teams on preferred usage in a particular language, making future translations even better.

Cogen keeps meticulous and relevant metrics about in-country review: we quantify how many edits are done, by content type. We request your in-country reviewers to rate the translation on accuracy, technical terminology, and style. We keep logs of these metrics, provide reports, and take corrective action before they become a quality issue.
For the translation of terms that are debatable, we qualify the nature and the relevance of the edits according to the J2450 standard. But this is a rare occurrence, because Cogen maintains such strong relationships with both its translation teams and your in-county staff.
